A Classic Fine Art Photography Show in New Mexico

The Shades of Gray show is a black and white Fine Art photography gallery show that features only New Mexico artists.  It is an annual show and is held at the 5,000 sq/ft Fine Arts Gallery at EXPONM (aka the NM State Fairgrounds).

This show is a juried show with about 430 digital entries.  Our esteemed judges pick the top 225 digital images and those images comprise the show from Sunday Dec. 2nd, through Thursday Dec. 27, Our Artist’s reception is held on the 1st Saturday of December (Saturday Dec. 1st) and it brings in over 500 guests.

The Shades of Gray show is the single largest black and white show in the Southwest.  All of the artwork on the walls is for sale and gallery guests are encouraged to vote for their favorite piece.  The artist that has the most popular votes gets a very nice crystal trophy and rosette.

This show is an extension of the ANMPAS (Annual New Mexico Photographic Art Show), The ANMPAS has just completed its 9th year of featuring many of the top photographers in New Mexico.

Please look through the gallery photos, judge’s photos and their websites to see their art work.

Thanks, LeRoy Perea. Founder of both the ANMPAS and Shades of Gray shows.
